Email Encryption and Continuity:
This product line has increased in popularity lately due to new industry, state, and
federal regulations like Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA), Gramm-Leach Bliley Act (GLBA), and others.
Email Encryption & Continuity services are offered through our agreements with
Exchange Hosted Services Group.
- EHS Encryption is a "clientless" encryption technology transparent to the sender
of the message; requiring the recipient to complete an easy
2 step authentication
process to decrypt secure messages. This service is administered via a standard secure webportal that doesn't require management of encryption keys or certificates.
No pre-enrollment is required of the recipient to receive or decrypt messages.
- EHS Continuity is a collection of tools that gives the customer a 30 day rolling
archive of all messages in the event of a primary mail system outage. It also provides a secure online webmail service so employees with internet access can continue to
be effective in the event of a catastrophe. Top that off with robust administrator
features to recover all transmissions during the outage to the primary systems and
notify all or selected users with updated information in real time via the secure
webmail interface.
